New Stationery Design

These are some cards that I just designed for myself. I thought I would share the design, as well as my design process. First of all, I thought, what is a custom stationery designer without her own custom stationery…Crazy, right?

So, I really have been loving the Yellow/Gray color combination lately, so I decided to use it for myself. I found a great scrolling design that I manipulated in Illustrator to become the main piece of art that I used to house the “R”. I filled it with a bit darker yellow than the background, and then used a charcoal stroke in gray to give it a bit more of a grungy look. After going through many fonts, I decided that FontleroyBrown was the font for me. So, voila, this is the card that was the product of all of that:
