Dark and Gothic Color Palette: Wood Rings

Today’s color palette is dark and gothic, kind of like this fall’s fashions. I am not really sure why it is called wood rings, but I guess dammar knows what he is talking about!

I am loving how the deep dark navy, magenta and orange, and how they play off of the lighter gold and yellow/green colors. Beautiful, right?

I would love to see this color palette in a living room. Deep navy couch with the burnt orange, gold and yellow/green pillows as accents. Then the deep magenta color blended into the room as a deep cushy chair with the same pillow accents as the couch. I am not sure what color the walls should be, but I am thinking navy…Or maybe gold…Thoughts?
