Holiday Color Palette: Make the Switch
Hello Lemonheads…Happy Thursday! I hope all of you lovelies out there are having a super fab week.
Today’s color palette is named Make the Switch by SparrowLP. I am really in the holiday mood now. I am working on my Christmas shopping, buying or making things to decorate my Christmas tree, listening to Christmas music (hellooo Dean Martin!), and just thinking about it in general.
I was thinking that red and green are great traditional colors for Christmas, but for people that want something a bit different, the Make the Switch color palette could be a good option. When referring to the color wheel, these colors relate almost like red and green. I think the orange would be a great pop of color. The dark green represents the greenery of a tree or fresh garland smelling like a chilly pine forest. I love the yellowish-off white. I think it adds a coolness to the firey orange. It would be so beautiful as a tree skirt edged in the green colors in this palette. The moss green and green blue are other great parts of this tetrad of color. I could see this color palette complimented by silver balls and glittery crystal on a Christmas table scape.
What do you think? Are you a more traditional decorator or do you take risks in your color choices? I would love to hear your thoughts about Christmas decorations.
Toodles!
