Christmas Decorating…Rinehart style

Hola, lemonheads! Today, I thought I might share my Christmas decorations with you. You have already seen my front door wreath, so now I thought I would move inside and share the rest. Nothing is really fancy, just what I enjoy about Christmas time.

I have collected Christopher Radko ornaments for years. I probably have between 20-30. Above is my favorite Radko ornament. He is so cute and colorful and came from my favorite aunt (Hi Aunt Judy!). I really love pulling them out one by one. I remember where and from whom I received all of them. I know it was driving my husband crazy when I was decorating the tree saying, “And I got this one from…”

These are a new addition to my tree this year, the Land of Nod 12 days of Christmas ornaments. They are so great! I still think that they have a few sets left – at a reduced price with free shipping – so pop over and get yourself some paper mache, hand-painted goodness…

In the last year, I have started collecting vintage Christmas ornaments too. They remind me of some that my grandmother used to have. I started my collection this summer at the World’s Longest Yard Sale.

I also collect nutcrackers. I love their erect little forms all painted in beautiful colors. My mom collects them too…I think she has given me all that I have. Below is my favorite. I call him “King Cracker.” He is very fat and squatty…Like he had too many Christmas turkey dinners!

Here are a couple of shots of my Christmas tree. Just a plain ole Fraiser Fir filled with holiday goodness. It just makes me all warm and fuzzy!

What are some holiday traditions that you like to keep? I would love to hear about collections, traditions and craft projects for the holidays…Please share!
