Terrific Tuesdays: Pretty Door Decor

Hola lemonheads! Hope you are all having a fabulous Tuesday. Today’s Terrific Tuesdays post is a pretty little decoration to brighten up your door for spring and summer. I have been looking for something fun to put on my door, and I think I have finally come up with something cute!

First (as always) I gathered my supplies:
A basket or other “hangable” container
Plants (I used two 4″ plants)
ribbon
moss
planter marker (made according to these directions)
dry floral foam
various adds on (butterflies, nests, birds)
wreath door hanger
Next, take your basket and cut dry foam to boost your plant height to the top of the basket opening.

Arrange plants in the basket. Fill in the gaps between the plants with extra dry foam to secure the arrangement.

Place moss over the dirt and foam to give the arrangement a finished look.
Add “extras” such as these fun butterflies (I just hot glued them to a piece of wire and stuck them in the dirt) or a welcome marker for the basket by following the directions for garden markers.

Tie ribbon on the basket or hanger for a fun summery treatment.
Hang this fun spring arrangement on your door to welcome everyone to your home!

Don’t forget to water it from time to time, especially when the summer heat starts to increase…Enjoy!

um, okay, that is TOTALLY cute. how do you come up with this stuff?? love it!
