Terrific Tuesdays: Another Cute Door Decor Project
Today is Tuesday, so of course I have a new Terrific Tuesdays project for you…Another door decor idea. Now that my front door was so pretty with its new decor, I thought my back door might feel a bit left out. So, I decided to make it feel pretty too! First I gathered my supplies:
- outdoor paint
- artificial flowers (I used 3 daisies)
- beads
- beading wire
- beading tools
- foam or bristle paint brush
- a wooden letter cut-out
First I painted my letter to match my other outdoor decor.
Then I made two little baubles to add to my main focus.
To make the baubles, I looped the bottom of some sturdy beading wire, then slipped on my chosen beads. I made the baubles two different lengths to add interest.
Then I put my focus together. I put the three flowers together, made a quick bow, then wired it all together. Then I finished it off with my baubles. Then I tied it on my letter.
To hang it on my door, I slipped a length of ribbon through the top of my “R” and made a bow. Then I just slipped it on a wreath hanger.
I think it turned out really cute…Don’t you think? If you don’t know how to bead, I think it would look just as cute with just the flowers and ribbon.
