Lemony Fresh Etsy Seller: Constellation Photo

Happy Wednesday, Lemonheads! Did you enjoy the gift tag download from yesterday? I hope so. Well, today we have a lovely photographer, Amanda Graham. Her Etsy shop is called Constellation Photo, and it is absolutely lovely. She so kindly granted me a little interview, so we not only get to view some of her lovely photos, but we will also get to learn a little about her…Fun right? Here we go!

Kelly: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started in photography?

Amanda: I’ve always had a desire to see the world in a lovely light and forget that world has an ugly side. I quickly realized that when I looked at the world through the lens, I could decide how I portrayed the world in my photos. So it soon became my obsession to see the world how I wanted to through the lens and share that view with others through my photos.

Kelly: What are your favorite things about creating your pieces?

Amanda: My favorite part of creating each piece is manipulating the shot, however mundane it may be, to emanate the beauty in life that many of us miss, because we are so busy being busy. When I photograph children, I always seek out that innocence that children have and try to capture it in it’s truest form. You may also notice that I tend to have a bit of nostalgia in many of my photos. Our memories are all we have of each experience and I love to bring a bit of happy nostalgia into people’s lives.

Kelly: What made you want to turn your art into a business?

Amanda: After much encouragement from my friends and family, I finally decided to start selling my photos online. It is an amazing opportunity that we have now with the Internet and online shopping. It has given people like me, who work at home an opportunity to share my passion with the world.
