Deep Dark Color Palette and Pattern: Vanmegam

Today’s color palette and pattern, look like they came out of Miss Havisham’s house in the book “Great Expectations,” or at least what I envision it to be. Very dark and decrepit, but beautiful. The color palette is called High Class Hooker and the pattern is Vanmegam, both by ambu1959.
I love the color combination of blue and brown (with a little burgundy) and this pattern is no exception. I would love to see this deep color palette in a study. I can see lots of cordovan and brown leather and deep blue velvet. This would also make a great stationery combination for a classic design.
What do you think? Too dark for you or just right?

I’ve been on such a kick with these colours in my wardrobe ALL summer. Along with a yellow/grey combo. Beautiful!
