I know that spring is just now upon us, but the peeps at Pantone are always looking toward the future of color.

So what do they see as hip and trendy in color in Fall 2010? This…

I love the neutrals in this palette, as well as the full rich colors. I think they can compliment a variety of skin tones.

If you are a graphic designer, you are really going to appreciate this…Pantone was nice enough to create a color palette that can be loaded directly into your favorite Adobe or Quark graphics program…That is a huge time saver if you are into this palette. From my point of view as a stationery designer, there are some lovely combinations that can make some pretty stationery pop…What do you think about this little number, for instance?

If you are looking for a more sophisticated stationery design, but with a lovely pop of unexpected color, this might be nice… That Endive rocks!

Hello, I am just dropping in for another quick visit…I just can’t stay away from you lovelies!

So, Pantone has just released their press release about the Color of the Year for 2010 which is Turquoise.

Personally, I love Turquoise. If it had not sounded so weird, my company would probably be named Turquoise Lemon Designs (of course Purple Lemon Designs is sooo normal sounding). Any whoo, I think Turquoise is a great color for 2010. What do you think?

Today Lemonheads I am lovin’ a little coziness. I am sharing a wonderful color palette called Floating Boats and an argyle inspired pattern called Blue Chairs. They are both shared by queensharbot.

I think that this would make a lovely non-traditional Christmas palette. These colors would really compliment a secondary, fun-themed Christmas tree. This would be a great palette for a tree in a little boy’s room…Super cute and fun!

This brings up an interesting question lemonheads…Do you have just one tree or do you have at least two or more? I am mulling this over in my head a bit. I was thinking about putting up a second tree and I would love to hear your thoughts…Fire away!

To go back to my elementary days in the eighties, I am feelin’ pretty rad today. My colors are too! I am sharing the color palette Stellalite and the pattern Party All Night both by Uninvited.

Everyone once in a while, you just need to brighten things up a bit. I wouldn’t use these colors in my house, but how fun would they be for some funky stationery or a crazy t-shirt…I think super fun! I love the lime green and turquoise together…But don’t leave out the hot hot pink, black and white! I would love a crazy cool sweater with stripes in all of these colors…What do you think lemonheads? Just enough or too much?

I don’t know if it is leftover remnant of love for Halloween or just a love of this wonderful color palette, but I present to you today’s color palette Tendency and pattern Albertura both by Lerner.

I think this color palette is so warm and fuzzy…It reminds me of pumpkin pie. I am thinking of starting up some crocheting, and I think this would make a very fabulous color palette for an afghan…What do think?

I think it would also make a lovely table runner. I think a very coarse fabric in the orangey color, with stamped designs in the black and bright red color….Fabulous! Let me know what you think lemonheads. What would you  use it for?

I love Thursdays, don’t you Lemonheads? It is the day before Friday…Super fun! On this wonderful Thursday, I have a very pretty and purpley color palette, From Before,  and pattern, Surrounded, both by wist to share with you. The palette, as always, can be downloaded in lots of various formats that can be plugged right into design programs such as Indesign and Illustrator, a very cool feature of colourlovers.com.

I have always liked purples and greens together and this palette is no exception. This mint green compliments all of these shades of purple very nicely. I would love to see this palette used in a bedroom. I could see a green duvet piped in the dark purple color. Then I think the light gray purple would be very beautiful and calming a a paint color on the wall…What do you think Lemonheads? What would you use this for?

I could see this as a great plaid pattern. These colors are so fabulously fall. I love them! I could also see the dark brown as a background and the lighter colors used in a monogram on some personalized stationery…How fab would that be?

Happy Thursday, lemonheads! I hope your week is going well. Today I have color palette that really just jumped out and grabbed me. It is such a fresh combination. I would love to use it in a project. The color palette is called Rarefeito and the pattern is called Lin Chin Mim Sim, both by Lerner on ColourLovers.

I could see this color palette being a strong palette for apparel. I love the mustard yellow, magenta and cool teal blue together. I think they would look great in a pattern or stripes on a top.

I have got to go shopping for tops, so maybe that is why I am thinking of apparel. What do you think these colors should be used for? Do you like them as much as me?

Hi lemonheads! Hopefully you are all having a great week. Today I have what I like to call a vintagey color palette and pattern to share with you. The pattern is called Turkish Delight and the palette is called Positivity and both were created by RocketCity.

This color palette so reminds me of fall. I love browns, creams, golds and oranges together. I love the blue thrown into the mix too. This really inspires me to take out all of my fall arrangements and decorations. I think it is time for a little harvest in my home.

I am LOVIN’ this color palette and pattern! The pattern is called Sugar and the palette is Don’t Blame Me both by chickennugget88.

I really like how the corally pink and the shades of magenta contrast with the lime green color. This palette is fabulous! I also really like the rope design in the pattern. The magentas intertwine to make a lovely frame around and though the lime green background.

I really like these colors…What do you think?
